T40 - Standard assistant propelled model.

All Freeway chairs have a modular design which enable individual components-parts to be changed when necessary. This allows chairs to be updated with replacement parts when they wear out. This chair is easily propelled and manoeuvred.

The standard safe working load of 200kg (30 stone) means the chair is very strong and durable and will last for many years to come. Seats-Backrests-Armrests-Footrests can be changed for alternative parts or replaced with new parts when needed.

Construction

Freeways manufacturing process takes place in North Wales. Only the highest quality materials are used in the production of all products.  The steel frame has been constructed from strong tubing to produce a heavy duty, durable chair with a safe working load of 200kg (30 stones)

Freecote: All frames/chassis undergo a unique process to produce a finish that is both highly durable and extremely attractive.

Freecote is anti bacterial and inhibits the growth of a large range of microbes including MRSA.

The special coating is also tough, resilient and waterproof, and it has a glossy attractive appearance which contribute to its longevity and durability.

The seat and backrest are covered in hard-wearing, flame retardant material, which is hygienic and easily wiped clean.

Only high performance, top quality plastic sealed bearing castors are used

Puncture proof tyres are used as standard on all self propelling models

A = Height to top of backrest handles   B  = Width  C1 = length including footrests at lowest position  C2 = length including footrests at highest position  D = width of standard seat   E = height to top of seat   F = height clearance  G  = Depth of (standard) seat H = Top of armrest to top of seat    I = width clearance  J = Top of backrest to top of seat   K1 = distance between armrests at rear   K2 =  Distance between armrests at front

 NB

Without footrests the overall length of the T40 reduces to 680mm

Seats are available with 50mm or 75mm extensions to fit on a standard frame

Seats have pan sliders attached. By removing the pan sliders, an extra 25mm of clearance can be achieved ( F will then be 470mm)

NOTES

To increase stability for reclined backrests or double amputees, we set rear wheels back as standard by 75mm. Dimensions  C1 and C2 are therefore increased by 75mm  Check setting the rear wheels back will not affect the ability of the seat aperture and the toilet aperture to line up

NOTE - Specifications may change at the manufacturers discretion.  Any changes will be updated accordingly and no orders will be processed without prior notification. All orders are subject to Easy Care Systems Ltd Terms and Conditons.
